These 2 day intensive workshops are designed to assist you in creating beautiful imagery and take your business to the next level. Myself and my team of styling and beauty experts will be at hand to show you what it takes to grow your portfolio and make your business successful. Over two days we will cover everything there is to know about fashion photography – revealing what’s behind the curtain on lighting, posing and business. This is not just an excellent learning opportunity – it’s a great way to network and be around other like-minded creatives.
day 1
First day starts with a studio lighting introduction and photo shoot, exploring topics such as creative lighting, camera settings, shooting tips & tricks, posing, model direction and more. The shoot, in collaboration with a professional and friendly team of models, wardrobe stylist, hair stylist and make-up artist, will feature exciting outfit changes to give variety to the resulting images.
All attendees have their time shooting the models alone, so you will be free to make your own creative choices. I will be sharing many different lighting techniques/tricks that I use in various client assignments. Complicated set ups and technical confusion is a thing about the past – I want to teach you to SEE light. Light & style are the two things that set you apart in a sea of many photographers. We can guarantee that you will leave that day with not only newly acquired skills and techniques, but also creative new shots for your portfolio!
day 2
The second day consists of an interactive business and marketing seminar to give you the advice you need to take your career or passion to the next step. This section covers key topics such as finding professional models, stylists, hair and makeup artists, approaching agencies, submitting images to magazines, getting commissioned, organising portfolios and contracts, finding clients, providing the right quote and much more. At the end of the second day you will also have the option of attending a wrap dinner with myself and a few members of my team to extend the conversation of the workshop and get to know each other over dinner & drinks! At the end of the workshop I invite you to join my exclusive Facebook Group for workshop attendees. This is a place for growth and encouragement. We encourage group networking during the workshop and many students leave to connect in the business world.
